30 Weeks

We are now 30 weeks along, as of this past weekend! Wow, I can't believe that we only have 10 weeks left until Baby S is due...this is unbelievable sometimes.

Things are getting done, slowly but surely. This weekend I started my cleaning projects. I am going through the apartment room by room and cleaning them 100%. On Sunday I cleaned out the Master Bathroom. I even crawled around the bathroom and cleaned all the baseboards and then organized under the sink and threw away all of our old and expired medications and such. I also got out our humidifier and set that up for the season...it's already helped the snoring that I wake up to from Dustin in the middle of the night. I wonder if its been the same the other way around?

I've also started cooking more meals at home so I can get some in the freezer for after our little guy makes his appearance. On Sunday we had Stuffed Peppers and with that we have two meals in the freezer. On Monday I made Swiss Chicken. Again, we have two meals in the freezer from this as well. This now brings our grand total up to 6 meals:

Sloppy Joe's - 2 meals
Swiss Chicken - 2 meals
Stuffed Peppers- 2 meals

Lets hope I can keep up the momentum and keep getting more meals in the freezer. With this, I have to thank My Mother-in-law, Aunt-in-law, and Grandmother-in-law - Deb, Doe, and Mona - again for the Rival Seal a Meal. Now I'm not as afraid to put things in the freezer for a few months...I know it will still be good and not all freezer burned. Dustin was like a little kid when i was sealing the Stuffed Peppers and Swiss Chicken. He kept saying "I want to push the button" or "I want to push it down" or, my favorite, "I like watching it suck all the air out, I want to watch that." I love when he gets in those moods when the simplest things amuse him...I get in those moods too sometimes.

Last but not least, on Tuesday I started my every other week appointments. The midwife said that everything looks and sounds good. For those of you putting in your votes as to when Baby S will arrive...The Midwife said that my Uterus is measuring a little big for where I'm at, she didn't say how big though. But remember that he is also big himself...at 24 weeks his head was 11 days ahead, torso 13 days ahead, and legs 18 days ahead of schedule. I think he just takes after the guys on both sides of the family...he's going to be tall!! Thanks to Dustin's side and to my side (heck Michael, my 16 year old brother is 6'4" already) for this little guys tallness. I guess I'll be one of those moms that has to stand on a chair to be taller then her son...I just wonder when that will be.

Here's the stats from the appointment:
Weight gain since last appointment a month ago: less then a pound, it was .6 of a pound (and that's with just having breakfast too).
Weight gain since beginning of pregnancy: -11lbs, yes that's a negative, meaning so far I'm 11lbs BELOW pre-pregnancy weight.
Baby S's Heart Beat: 125 beats/minute...nice and strong!
